first time I been reading history in my own country trough this book, and this book inform me better how to understand my own country and to grow up in the Philippines is normal to us to face the daily struggle around us. but never know how catholic influence the state until now and the influence of the American into pilipno people none of the younger generation understood why American still backing up the Philippines! in currently situation from politics to religion still present in the Philippines and still many of the Filipino don't understand the politics because they will blind of politics and religion? my only doubt in this book is that it's short of re-search revised it and tell the truth.
